Description
Ancient Rome
45 BC - Calpurnia Pisonis, Mark Antony and Gaius Octavian at Caesar’s Gallic Triumph.
- Inspired by a scene from the 'Rome' TV series.
I don’t know how historically accurate this is, as Caesar and Antony fell out with each other in 47 BC and didn’t speak for practically two years – so whether Antony would’ve taken an important part in Caesar’s Triumph I don’t know. However, since Antony did serve as a Legate in Gaul, tradition states that he should have taken part.
